However, the process requirements of the solid insulation ring network frame are higher than that of the SF6 gas insulation ring network cabinet. The failure probability and hazard are higher than those of SF6 gas-insulated ring network cabinets, and it is necessary to ensure the quality of raw materials and the level of craftsmanship”
On October 22, the first domestic automatic production line of intelligent solid insulation ring main unit built by Beijing Dianyan Huayuan Power Technology Co., Ltd., an industrial company of China Electric Power Research Institute, was completed and put into operation. The automatic production line of the intelligent solid insulation ring main unit is an increase in the production capacity of the intelligent power distribution industry of the China Electric Power Research Institute.
The core part of the project is the automatic production line of the ring main unit with the highest technical level, the largest scale and the most advanced technology in China.
On March 2, 2012, State Grid Corporation of China released the enterprise standard QGUw7302012 "Technical Conditions for 12kV Solid Insulation Ring Main Unit", which was drafted by China Electric Power Research Institute, Beijing Electric Power Company, Shanghai Electric Power Company, and Zhejiang Electric Power Company.
